NCT00358215
The purpose of the study is to determine the efficacy of treatment of anemia with darbepoetin alfa compared to placebo on the composite of time to death from any cause or first hospital admission for worsening heart failure in patients with symptomatic left ventricular systolic dysfunction and anemia.
NCT01099449
RATIONALE: Chemoprotective drugs, such as calcium gluconate and magnesium sulfate, may prevent neurotoxicity caused by oxaliplatin. It is not yet known which administration schedule of calcium gluconate and magnesium sulfate is more effective in preventing neurotoxicity. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying different administration schedules of calcium gluconate and magnesium sulfate and comparing how well they work in neurotoxicity in patients with colon cancer or rectal cancer receiving oxaliplatin-based combination chemotherapy.
NCT01115569
This Phase 3, multi-center study will evaluate the long-term safety and tolerability of hydrocodone bitartrate controlled release capsule (HC-CR) at daily doses of 40 mg or more in subjects with moderate to severe chronic pain. Long-term maintenance of HC-CR efficacy will be evaluated.
NCT01375777
The primary objective was to evaluate the effect of 12 weeks of subcutaneous evolocumab (AMG 145) every 2 weeks (Q2W) or every 4 weeks (Q4W), compared with placebo, on the percent change from baseline in LDL-C when used as monotherapy in adults with hypercholesterolemia.
NCT04162769
The purpose of this study is to determine whether etrasimod is a safe and effective treatment for moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD).
NCT01763866
The primary objective was to evaluate the effect of 12 weeks of evolocumab administered subcutaneously every 2 weeks (Q2W) and monthly (QM) when used in combination with a statin, compared with placebo, on percent change from baseline in low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia.
NCT03352557
The primary objective of the placebo-controlled period is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of BIIB092 in participants with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) due to Alzheimer's disease (AD) or with mild AD. The secondary objectives of the placebo-controlled period are to evaluate the efficacy of multiple doses of BIIB092 in slowing cognitive and functional impairment in participants with MCI due to AD or with mild AD, and to evaluate the immunogenicity of BIIB092 after multiple doses in participants with MCI due to AD or with mild AD. The primary objective of the long-term extension period is to evaluate the long-term safety and tolerability of BIIB092 in participants with MCI due to AD or with mild AD.
NCT01416428
The purpose of this study is to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD), activity, and safety of oprozomib in patients with hematologic malignancies.
NCT01375764
The primary objective was to evaluate the effect of 12 weeks of subcutaneous evolocumab (AMG 145), compared with ezetimibe, on percent change from baseline in low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in patients with hypercholesterolemia unable to tolerate an effective dose of a statin.
NCT04457752
A Randomized Controlled Multicenter Clinical Trial, Evaluating the Efficacy of Dual Layer Amniotic Membrane (Artacent®) and Standard of Care versus Standard of Care alone in the healing Chronic Diabetic Foot Ulcers. Multi-center, open label, randomized controlled trial. Study is estimated to require 12 months from first subject enrolled to last subject visit.
NCT04051944
The purpose of the study is to assess long-term safety and tolerability of weekly doses of rozanolixizumab in subjects with chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP).
NCT05080907
iSpecimen aims to create a clinical partner network of hospitals, laboratories, academic institutions, and other healthcare organizations ("institutions") capable of providing researchers and educators ("researchers") with annotated biospecimens for use in biomarker discovery and validation; diagnostic test and instrumentation development and validation; therapeutics development; other medical research including the impact that various specimen collection and handling methods and conditions have on research results; and in education such as researcher or physician training (collectively "research").
NCT05010512
The purpose of this study is to compare the clinical performance of DAILIES TOTAL1 ( DT1) contact lenses with Infuse contact lenses.
NCT02483078
This is a Phase 2b/3, multi-center, two part study, designed to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of PRO 140 in conjunction with existing ART (failing regimen) for one week and Optimized Background Therapy (OBT) for 24 weeks respectively. Study population includes treatment-experienced HIV-infected patients with CCR5-tropic virus who demonstrates evidence of HIV-1 replication despite ongoing antiretroviral therapy with documented genotypic or phenotypic resistance to ART drugs within three drug classes (or within two or more drug classes with limited treatment options). The options may be limited as a result of drug antiviral class cross-resistance or documented treatment intolerance.
NCT01782989
This is a prospective, randomized study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ORACEA® in the treatment of geographic atrophy due to dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
NCT00911820
There is no clear standard of care for metastatic stomach or esophageal cancer in the United States. The purpose of this research study is to determine the differences between two regimens of chemotherapy; Arm A: PCA (Cisplatin, Irinotecan and Bevacizumab) and Arm B: TPCA (Docetaxel, Cisplatin, Irinotecan and Bevacizumab). Docetaxel, Cisplatin, and Irinotecan are traditional chemotherapy drugs. Bevacizumab is an antibody (a protein that attacks a foreign substance in the body). Bevacizumab is believed to stop the formation of new blood vessels that carry nutrients to tumors. Both of the chemotherapy regimens (PCA and TPCA) have been studied in patients with esophageal and gastric cancer, and we are trying to determine if one regimen will keep your cancer from growing and improve how long you can live.
NCT04678505
The purpose of this study is to compare the plasma and urine pharmacokinetics (PK) of MK-3402 in participants with impaired renal function and healthy control participants, to investigate the extent to which MK-3402 is removed from the plasma by hemodialysis (HD), and evaluate the safety and tolerability of MK-3402 in participants with impaired renal function.
NCT01559363
The primary objective of this study Phase 1b was to determine the safety, plasma pharmacokinetics, and maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of tesevatinib when administered to participants with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD). The primary objective of this study Phase 2a was to evaluate the annualized change in glomerular filtration rate (GFR) in participants with ADPKD when treated with tesevatinib.
NCT00845026
The primary objective of this study was to assess time to discontinuation due to lack of tolerability among patients with schizophrenia receiving LY2140023, given orally twice daily for 24 weeks, versus those on atypical antipsychotic standard-of-care (SOC) treatment. Lack of tolerability was defined as discontinuation due to adverse events (AEs). Patients who completed the active treatment phase were eligible to continue to an optional 28 weeks of treatment extension phase. This extension phase assessed key safety and efficacy measures.
NCT03712228
This is a multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled, parallel-arm, phase 2 study to investigate the clinical efficacy, pharmacokinetics, and safety of CSL312 as prophylaxis to prevent attacks in subjects with HAE.
