NCT00003825
RATIONALE: Pentosan polysulfate may be effective in treating side effects of radiation therapy to the abdomen or pelvis. It is not yet known whether pentosan polysulfate is more effective than no further therapy for treating gastrointestinal disturbance caused by previous radiation therapy. PURPOSE: Randomized phase III trial to determine the effectiveness of pentosan polysulfate in treating patients who have inflammation of the rectum, diarrhea, or blood in stools caused by previous radiation therapy to the abdomen and pelvis.

The study is conducted to examine the effect of the app on stress and emotional wellness in participants 14 years and older. Research Question: Does HeartBot affect the stress levels and emotional wellness in participants 14 years and older? Hypothesis: Participants who use HeartBot for 21 days will see a significant decrease in their stress levels and an improvement in emotional wellness.
NCT03103503
The purpose of this registry is to confirm the long-term safety and reliability of BIOTRONIK's Plexa ICD lead.
NCT04106726
To evaluate the therapeutic equivalence and safety of ivermectin cream 1% (Zydus Worldwide DMCC) and Soolantra® (ivermectin) cream, 1% (Galderma Laboratories, L.P.) in the treatment of moderate to severe facial papulopustular rosacea. To demonstrate the superiority of the efficacy of the test and reference products over that of the placebo control in the treatment of moderate to severe facial rosacea.
NCT01140451
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disorder caused by a mutation in the gene that makes the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) protein. A specific type of mutation called a nonsense (premature stop codon) mutation is the cause of CF in approximately 10% of patients with the disease. Ataluren is an orally delivered investigational drug that has the potential to overcome the effects of the nonsense mutation. This study is a Phase 3 extension trial that will evaluate the long-term safety of ataluren in adult and pediatric participants with nonsense mutation CF (nmCF), as determined by adverse events and laboratory abnormalities. The study will also assess changes in pulmonary function, CF pulmonary exacerbations, health-related quality of life, antibiotic use for CF-related infections, CF-related disruptions to daily living, body weight, and CF pathophysiology. Funding source for this study is the FDA OOPD.
NCT02709889
The primary objective of this study is to assess the safety and tolerability of rovalpituzumab tesirine in subjects with specific delta-like protein 3-expressing advanced solid tumors.
NCT00632372
The purpose of this study is to collect and analyze electrical measurements, timing, and signals from a CRT-D device in heart failure patients who either already have an implanted left atrial pressure sensor or will undergo a simultaneous implantation of a left atrial pressure sensor and a CRT-D device. These devices may be placed at the same time or separately (staged procedure) at the discretion of the investigator. A comparison will be made between the information gathered from the CRT-D system and the information gathered by the left atrial pressure sensor.
NCT00101010
RATIONALE: Monoclonal antibodies, such as rituximab, can block cancer growth in different ways. Some block the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Others find cancer cells and help kill them or carry cancer-killing substances to them. Drugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving rituximab together with combination chemotherapy may kill more cancer cells. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying how well giving rituximab together with combination chemotherapy works in treating older patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
NCT02322333
This is a double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized, multi-center study. Subjects agreeing to participate in the study and meet the entry criteria assessed at the screening visit, will begin a 28 day baseline period to confirm their diagnosis, as well as establish baseline migraine characteristics. During this baseline period, subjects will continue treating their migraines as usual, simply recording the information in a daily headache diary. Subjects who, after completing the baseline, continue to meet entrance criteria will be eligible to enter into the treatment phase and be randomized according to the Clinvest generated randomization schedule. Approximately 142 subjects (71 subjects per arm) will be randomized and enter the treatment phase receiving MLD10 or placebo in a 1:1 design at 6 United States sites. Diary assessments will collect study medication adherence, pain severity, headache symptoms, acute medication usage, and unusual symptoms. Serum samples will be collected and analyzed for ionized magnesium, electrolytes, and creatinine.
NCT02923921
To compare the efficacy of pegilodecakin in combination with FOLFOX versus FOLFOX alone in participants with metastatic pancreatic cancer as measured by overall survival.
NCT01194960
Based on both pre-clinical and clinical data, it may be advantageous to administer a cancer vaccine before chemotherapy to enhance immune responses, thus leading to a more effective therapeutic approach for subjects with metastatic HRPC. This clinical study will evaluate the role of combination therapy of TroVax® plus Docetaxel vs. Docetaxel alone on the progression free survival (PFS) of subjects with HRPC.
NCT00811499
This is a Phase 2 study, involving a 12-week treatment period, designed to evaluate the effectiveness of investigational study drug ARRY-371797 (versus placebo) in treating ankylosing spondylitis, and to further evaluate the drug's safety. Approximately 130 patients from the US, Canada, Poland and Hungary will be enrolled in this study.
NCT03547206
This study is designed as a double-masked, randomized, placebo-controlled, clinical study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of subcutaneous (SC) administration of RPh201 in participants with previous NAION. All participants enrolled in Cohort A of the study will have a documented history of NAION for at least 12 months and at most, five years prior to enrollment. Participants enrolled in Cohort B of the study will have a documented history of NAION for at least 6 months and at most, three years prior to enrollment.

NCT00278902
This is a Phase 1 study during which patients with advanced solid tumors will receive investigational study drug ARRY-334543. This study has 2 parts. In the first part, patients will receive increasing doses of study drug (2 dosing schedules will be evaluated) in order to achieve the highest dose possible that will not cause unacceptable side effects. Approximately 70 patients from the US and Canada will be enrolled in Part 1 (Completed). In the second part of the study, patients will receive the best dose(s) and schedule(s) of study drug determined from the first part of the study and will be followed to see what side effects the study drug causes and what effectiveness it has, if any, in treating the cancer. Approximately 40 patients from the US and Canada will be enrolled in Part 2 (Completed).
