NCT00435227
This was a Phase 2, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter study to determine the effect of a single 30 mg/kg intramuscular (IM) dose of motavizumab on viral load and motavizumab levels in the upper respiratory tract of children who present with RSV illness but who do not require hospitalization. Using 1:1 randomization, 30 mg/kg motavizumab or placebo will be administered as soon as possible after a child's diagnosis of RSV and his/her eligibility for the study has been confirmed.
NCT01901055
Diabetes self-management is important to help adults with type 2 diabetes achieve glucose control. Obstructive sleep apnea often co-exists with type 2 diabetes and may act as a barrier to diabetes self-management and glucose control. We will examine if treatment of obstructive sleep apnea with continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), combined with diabetes education, results in improved diabetes self-management and glucose control.
NCT01381718
RATIONALE: Modafinil may help improve memory, attention, and fatigue caused by cancer treatment. PURPOSE: This phase II randomized trial studies how well modafinil works in treating children with memory and attention problems caused by cancer treatment for a brain tumor.
NCT02100696
This Phase III, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter study will investigate the efficacy and safety of etrolizumab during induction and maintenance of remission compared with placebo in the treatment of participants with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis (UC) who have been previously exposed to TNF inhibitors.
NCT03629275
A study of stereotactic, intracerebral injection of CTX0E03 neural stem cells into patients with moderate to moderately severe disability as a result of an ischemic stroke.
NCT05004636
The purpose of this study is to determine whether the addition of magnesium to bupivacaine for the post-operative adductor canal blocks (ACB) can decrease opioid consumption and improve pain management for patients after same-day discharge total knee arthroplasty (TKA). The investigators will assess whether the addition of magnesium will decrease visual analog scale (VAS) pain scores, decrease post-operative total opioid consumption (oral morphine equivalents), decrease the incidence of post-operative nausea and vomiting (PONV), and improve patient satisfaction in comparison to when magnesium is not administered.
NCT01041638
This phase III trial is studying the side effects of giving monoclonal antibody Ch14.18 together with sargramostim, aldesleukin, and isotretinoin after autologous stem cell transplant in treating patients with neuroblastoma. Monoclonal antibodies, such as Ch14.18, may find tumor cells and help kill them. Colony-stimulating factors, such as sargramostim, may increase the number of immune cells found in bone marrow or peripheral blood. Aldesleukin may stimulate the white blood cells to kill tumor cells. Isotretinoin may help neuroblastoma cells become more like normal cells, and to grow and spread more slowly. Giving monoclonal antibody Ch14.18 with sargramostim, aldesleukin, and isotretinoin after autologous stem cell transplant may be an effective treatment for neuroblastoma.
NCT04152083
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of eptinezumab administered intravenously in participants experiencing an acute attack of migraine.
NCT00793598
This was a randomized, double-blind, multiple-dose placebo-controlled study of oral brincidofovir (BCV) in hematopoietic stem cell transplant and renal transplant recipients with BK virus viruria.
NCT01339559
This is a Phase 3, open label, long term follow-up (LTFU), multicenter, noncomparative, and single arm study of brivaracetam (BRV).
NCT01888484
This is an open-label phase III study with a 12-week wash-in/wash-out period followed by a 12-month efficacy period. The main goals of the study are to assess the efficacy of octanorm in preventing serious bacterial infections (SBI) compared with historical control data and to evaluate the pharmacokinetic (PK) characteristics of octanorm.
NCT01487109
This study is being conducted to evaluate the safety and efficacy of treatment with CTP-499 for 24 weeks in patients with chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetic nephropathy and who are currently receiving treatment with an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI) and/or angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB).
NCT02104817
The study is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled (corn oil), parallel group design that will enroll approximately 13,000 patients with hypertriglyceridemia and low HDL and high risk for CVD to be randomized 1:1 to either corn oil + statin or Epanova + statin, once daily, for approximately 3-5 years as determined when the number of MACE outcomes is reached.
NCT01720524
This study will evaluate whether IV sildenafil can reduce the time on inhaled nitric oxide treatment and reduce the failure rate of available treatments for persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn.
NCT00003338
RATIONALE: Diagnostic imaging procedures, such as radiolabeled monoclonal antibodies, may improve the ability to detect the residual disease in patients who have been treated for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. PURPOSE: Phase II/III trial to study the effectiveness of monoclonal antibodies in detecting residual disease in patients who have been treated for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
NCT00547066
This trial will study different dose levels of hA20 (IMMU-106) to see if they are safe and effective for treating ITP.
NCT00931944
This is an open-label, multi-center study designed to extend the evaluation of the safety, tolerability, and clinical effects of oral administration of KNS-760704 in patients with ALS.
NCT01783938
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of a sequential combination therapy of Nivolumab and Ipilimumab
NCT03086460
To evaluate the dose-response of different doses of CHF 1531 pressurized metered dose inhaler (pMDI) containing formoterol fumarate, on lung function and other clinical outcomes and to identify the optimal dose(s) with regard to benefit/ risk ratio for further development in the target subject population.
NCT01554514
Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) is a disease characterized by small blood clots throughout the body that can damage major organs and cause death. TTP is treated with plasma exchange (also called "plasmapheresis"). Patients who do not respond initially to plasma exchange often are helped by later treatment with rituximab. The purpose of this study is to see whether combining low doses of rituximab with plasma exchange will help patients get better sooner and reduce the chance of getting TTP again.
