NCT02135692
This is a multi-center, open-label, long-term study of subcutaneously (SC) administered mepolizumab 100mg in addition to standard of care (SOC), in subjects with severe eosinophilic asthma. This study will enroll a subset of subjects from Study MEA115661 who have demonstrated clear benefit from therapy and who without continuation of mepolizumab therapy are individuals at greatest risk of serious deterioration of their health status. In order to target individuals at greatest risk for serious deterioration of their health status, only subjects from the MEA115661 study with a history of life-threatening or seriously debilitating asthma, will be allowed to participate. Subjects meeting all of the eligibility criteria for the study will be offered the opportunity to consent for this study of up to 128 weeks in length (including the Follow-Up Visit). This study will give opportunity to extend the collection of clinical data for long-term use and further assess the sustainability of efficacy in a population likely to experience significant loss of asthma control and the need for higher doses of systemic steroids if returned to SOC only.
NCT00394251
The primary objective of this study was to compare the safety of dose-dense ABI-007 (Abraxane) 260 mg/m\^2 or Taxol 175 mg/m\^2 given every 2 weeks following dose-dense Adriamycin plus Cytoxan (AC) chemotherapy. Bevacizumab was administered at 10 mg/kg every 2 weeks throughout chemotherapy, and then at 15 mg/kg every 3 weeks following chemotherapy.
NCT02974855
This study is designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and efficacy of multiple subcutaneous and/or intravenous doses of PF-06741086 in subjects with severe hemophilia.
NCT01864174
The purpose of this study is determine if Metformin XR monotherapy in subjects with type 2 diabetes is non-inferior to Metformin IR monotherapy
NCT02096263
The purpose of this study is to assess the immunogenicity and safety of GSK Biologicals' Infanrix hexa vaccine when administered to healthy infants as primary vaccination at 2, 4 and 6 months of age, co-administered with Prevnar and Rotarix with a booster dose of GSK Biologicals' Infanrix and Hiberix vaccines at 15-18 months of age.
NCT00765102
This is a phase II, open-label, multicenter, dual-strata study designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of IV romidepsin given in combination with IV bortezomib for multiple myeloma (MM) patients with refractory or relapsed disease. Patients will be enrolled into one of two strata, bortezomib-resistant or bortezomib non-resistant.
NCT02831855
This study is designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of tofacitinib modified release formulation (11mg QD) versus tofacitinib modified release formulation plus continued methotrexate treatment in subjects with moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis who are insufficiently responding to their stable dose of methotrexate treatment.
NCT01781078
The objective of the SAMURAI Clinical Study is to collect data to confirm the safety, performance and effectiveness of the ImageReady System for use in the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) environment when used in accordance with the Conditions of Use included in the Boston Scientific MRI Technical Guide
NCT00085449
RATIONALE: Giving low doses of chemotherapy, monoclonal antibodies, and radiation therapy before a donor peripheral blood stem cell transplant helps stop the growth of cancer cells. It also stops the patient's immune system from rejecting the donor's stem cells when they do not exactly match the patient's blood. The donated stem cells may replace the patient's immune system and help destroy any remaining cancer cells (graft-versus-tumor effect). Sometimes the transplanted cells from a donor can also make an immune response against the body's normal cells. Giving cyclosporine and mycophenolate mofetil before transplant may stop this from happening. PURPOSE: This phase I/II trial is studying the side effects of alemtuzumab, fludarabine, and melphalan with or without cyclosporine, mycophenolate mofetil, and total-body irradiation before donor peripheral blood stem cell transplant and to see how well they work in treating patients with relapsed or refractory hematologic cancer.
NCT01197560
The purpose of this study is to compare lenalidomide to a control drug and see which one delays Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL) disease progression longer.
NCT02268942
This is a prospective, multi-center,single-arm study that will evaluate the thoracotomy implant technique in up to 145 subjects implanted via thoracotomy with the HeartWare HVAD System and enrolled in the Interagency Registry for Mechanically Assisted Circulatory Support (Intermacs®) protocol and database. All participating centers are current INTERMACS® sites in good standing and follow the INTERMACS® protocol and procedures.
NCT01770353

NCT02717195
To evaluate the efficacy of 10 and 20 mg/day of Lu AF35700 on schizophrenia symptoms in patients with treatment-resistant schizophrenia (TRS)
NCT02224157
The purpose of this study is to test if Symbicort (budesonide/formoterol) Turbuhaler is effective in treating asthma when used 'as needed' in patients with milder asthma. The efficacy of Symbicort 'as needed' will be compared with Pulmicort (budesonide) Turbuhaler twice daily plus terbutaline Turbuhaler 'as needed'
NCT01681225
This phase II multi-centered, randomized controlled trial of mechanical ventilation directed by esophageal pressure measurement will test the primary hypothesis that using a strategy of maintaining a minimal but positive transpulmonary pressure (Ptp = airway pressure minus pleural pressure) throughout the ventilatory cycle will lead to an improvement in patient survival.
