NCT01120054
Objectives include: 1) establishing a psychometrically sound traumatic brain injury (TBI) screening measure for use among homeless veterans; 2) identifying the prevalence of those that screen positive for TBI among homeless veterans seeking VA services; and 3) comparing psychiatric and psychosocial outcomes between those with and without a history of TBI.
NCT01633060
This study was a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase III study to determine the efficacy and safety of treatment with Buparlisib plus Fulvestrant vs. Placebo plus Fulvestrant in postmenopausal women with hormone Receptor-positive (HR-positive), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HER2-negative), aromatase inhibitor (AI)-treated, locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer whose disease progressed on or after mammalian target of rapamycin inhibitor (mTORi)-based treatment. Patients were randomized in 2:1 ratio to treatment with buparlisib 100 mg daily in combination with fulvestrant 500 mg or placebo daily in combination with fulvestrant 500 mg. Randomization was stratified according to visceral disease status (present or absent).
NCT02955446
This is a single-center, open label, non randomized, compassionate use protocol in patients with advanced solid tumor malignancies who were previously enrolled in the phase I study (NCT00878189) of this agent.
NCT01698086
Impaired standing balance, fatigue and abnormal eye movements are common problems in persons with MS. These complaints are related to advanced disability and decreased quality of life for persons with MS. Researchers from the University of Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Multiple Sclerosis Center (RMMSC) at the Anschutz Medical Campus have recently completed and published a research study that showed an exercise program consisting of balance and eye movement training, referred to as a vestibular rehabilitation program, was very effective in improving self-reported fatigue and standing balance in persons with MS. This initial study was the first to have proven that this type of exercise program is able to improve both of these potentially devastating complaints. The investigators from this initial study have partnered with other well-established researchers from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and the Rocky Mountain Multiple Sclerosis Center (RMMSC) at the Anschutz Medical Campus to advance our knowledge of the effect of vestibular rehabilitation for persons with MS. Using the findings from the initial study, the investigators propose to conduct a larger study specifically identifying persons with MS who have brain lesion involvement in areas that control balance and eye movements. Primarily, the current study will determine if those individuals who have involvement in these areas of the brain improve more in balance and fatigue compared to those who do not following participation in a vestibular rehabilitation program. Additionally, the investigators will test if study participants who have abnormal eye movement control, will improve their eye movement control following the training program. For persons with MS, impaired eye movements can lead to a considerable decline in health status, further illustrating the importance of the research plan to study this important factor. The investigators believe that greater improvements in balance and fatigue are possible from a longer treatment, and that participants who have brain lesion involvement in areas that help control balance and eye movements will benefit greater than those who do not. This information is important to determine who is more likely to benefit from a vestibular rehabilitation program. Additionally, the researchers will be able to measure changes in eye movement control, providing valuable insight into the reasons for the program's effectiveness.
NCT00303979
The purpose of this study is to characterize current management of patients with either heart failure or prior myocardial infarction and left ventricular dysfunction and to assess the effect of education, specific clinical guidelines, reminder systems, comprehensive disease state management tools, benchmarked quality reports, and academic detailing on the use of evidence-based heart failure therapies in cardiology practices. This study is a quality improvement initiative that is being conducted through review of patient records.
NCT03236207
Infants/children with cow's milk allergy will take part in 2 double-blinded placebo-controlled food challenges (DBPCFC) of 2 extensively hydrolyzed formulas in random order. If both food challenges are passed, subjects will be asked to consume the Test formula in an at-home open challenge for 7 days.
NCT02854605
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of GS-9674 in participants with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).
NCT00500617
The PREDICT study is to develop and validate a diagnostic blood ASGES (age, sex, gene expression score) or Corus CAD for atherosclerotic coronary artery disease (CAD). The Corus CAD (Age/Sex/Gene Expression score - ASGES) will use quantitative real-time PCR (RT-PCR) to quantify the expression of multiple genes from circulating peripheral blood cells to assess the presence of clinically significant CAD in a patient.
NCT02011893
The purpose of the study is to demonstrate the safety and efficacy of the Prodigy system for the treatment of chronic intractable pain of the trunk and/or limbs.
NCT02012920
The goal of this clinical study is to determine the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and activity of Seviteronel, a lyase-selective inhibitor of CYP17, in patients with castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC).
NCT02670551
This study investigates the efficacy of a fixed-dose regimen of cariprazine 1.5 milligram (mg)/day or 3 mg/day compared to placebo for treatment of the depressive episode in participants with bipolar I disorder. The safety and tolerability of the fixed-dose regimens will be evaluated.
NCT01305525
This is a prospective non-interventional 24 month post implant registry. Any patient that receives a St. Jude Medical FDA approved implantable neuromodulation system is eligible for enrollment. A minimum of 600 patients will be enrolled from a minimum of 30 sites. Patients will be enrolled post-implant and followed for 24 months. Data are collected at enrollment (within 30 days of device implant), and routine care follow-up visits at 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months and 24 months.

To determine the optimal duration for continuation of Tigan® following initiation of Apokyn® therapy iii. To assess the safety of Tigan® in combination with Apokyn® iv. To characterize the pharmacokinetic (PK) profile of apomorphine in subjects treated concomitantly with and without Tigan®
NCT00720213
This study is being undertaken to collect data from Respironics Inc's BiPAP Auto Servo Ventilation 3 (autoSV3) and compare with data from Respironics, Inc's BiPAP autoSV2, to confirm that the algorithms in the BiPAP autoSV3 device can safely and effectively treat participants experiencing Complex Sleep Apneas (Comp SAS) no worse than its predecessor, the BiPAP auto Servo ventilation 2 (autoSV2) device. This will be determined using a comparative, randomized design with the participants blinded to the therapy. Additionally, attempts will be made to blind the central scorer(s) with respect to which device is in use.
