NCT04786873
This research study will find out if a new growth hormone stimulation test is safe and works as well as other tests to diagnose growth hormone deficiency (GHD) in children. The stimulation test will use a new growth hormone stimulating substance called macimorelin. By now, only adults in the USA can get this new stimulation test. The results of this study are expected to help children and teenagers with suspected GHD to get the macimorelin stimulation test. The macimorelin test will be compared to a clonidine and an arginine test. Both are known standard stimulation tests. Altogether two macimorelin tests are planned to be performed in the study, to show how repeatable macimorelin tests results are (under a set of similar conditions).
NCT05463198
The study is a prospective, non-randomized, non-blinded, non-significant risk, multi-center study enrolling up to 500 healthy adult subjects consented to undergo a whole blood donation procedure. The study will involve enrolling subjects that will undergo blood donation wearing the study device (CM-1600 Device) and capture study-required physiological parameters pre-, during, and post-donation.
NCT04162184
This study will utilize mixed methods to develop and assess the feasibility and acceptability of a health educator intervention designed to connect patients in recovery from substance use disorder to reproductive health education and services.
NCT04688775
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of eptinezumab in participants with episodic Cluster Headache (eCH)
NCT04797221
Seventeen United States Veterans die by suicide each day. Nearly three-fourths of those Veterans die from firearm injury or poisoning, and many seek care in VA Emergency Departments (ED) prior to suicide attempts. In 2019, the VA began screening all Veterans seeking ED care for increased suicide risk. Interventions that promote firearm and medication safety are recommended for Veterans identified as at-risk. The investigators work will provide important information that will aid the development and testing of such an intervention for Veterans who seek care in VA EDs. The investigators will interview at-risk Veterans who recently sought VA ED care to identify factors relevant to developing the intervention, and work with Veterans and VA healthcare staff to develop and test an intervention.
NCT01970865
Phase 1 and 2 trial to study the safety, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, patient reported outcomes and efficacy of PF-06463922 in ALK + advanced non-small cell lung cancer patients and ROS1+ advanced non small cell lung cancer patients .
NCT04509050
This is a two-part, multi-center, prospective longitudinal, exploratory study of highly effective cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) modulators and their impact on children with cystic fibrosis (CF).
NCT03016312
This Phase III, multicenter, randomized, open-label study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of atezolizumab (anti-programmed death-ligand 1 \[anti-PD-L1\] antibody) in combination with enzalutamide compared with enzalutamide alone in participants with mCRPC after failure of an androgen synthesis inhibitor (e.g., abiraterone) and failure of, ineligibility for, or refusal of a taxane regimen. Participants will be randomized to one of the two treatment arms (atezolizumab in combination with enzalutamide, and enzalutamide alone) in a 1:1 ratio (experimental to control arm) in global randomized phase. Participants will receive treatment until investigator-assessed confirmed radiographic disease progression per Prostate Cancer Working Group 3 (PCWG3) criteria or unacceptable toxicity.
NCT02713347
Chronic heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and interstitial lung disease (i.e., pulmonary fibrosis) are common serious illnesses. Despite disease-specific medical care, people with these illnesses often left with poor quality of life (i.e., burdensome symptoms, impaired function). Furthermore, while these illnesses are leading causes of hospitalization and mortality, few people with these illnesses engage in advance care planning, the process of considering and communicating healthcare values and goals. The investigators are conducting a randomized clinical trial to study a symptom management, psychosocial care and advance care planning intervention to improve quality of life. The study is important because it aims to improve quality of life and provision of care according to peoples' goals and preferences in common, burdensome illnesses. Furthermore, this study will generate information that supports the broader dissemination and implementation of the intervention and informs the development of future palliative care and team-based interventions in the VA.
NCT05409235
This study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of OTT166 Ophthalmic solution in participants with Diabetic Retinopathy.
NCT03660631
The objective of this study is to evaluate the implementation of of a remote, pharmacist-led cardiovascular risk service (CVRS) in 12 large, organizationally and culturally diverse hospitals and health-systems, many with high proportions of minority and underserved patients.
NCT03985943
The main purpose of the study was to assess the efficacy and safety of nemolizumab after a 16-week treatment period in adult and adolescent subjects with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD) not adequately controlled with topical treatments.
NCT03861169
This study will prospectively assess the clinical effect of ab-interno transluminal viscoelastic delivery and trabeculotomy performed using the OMNI Surgical System in combination with Cataract Extraction on intraocular pressure (IOP) and the use of IOP-lowering medications in patients with mild-moderate open angle glaucoma (OAG).
NCT03934736
This is an open-label, single arm study design to evaluate HEPLISAV-B® in adults with ESRD who are initiating or undergoing hemodialysis.

NCT05462639
Elranatamab is a bispecific antibody: binding of elranatamab to CD3- expressing T-cell and BCMA- expressing multiple myeloma cells causes targeted T-cell mediated cytotoxicity. This expanded access protocol will provide access to elranatamab until it becomes commercially accessible to patients who are refractory to at least one proteasome inhibitor, one immunomodulatory drug and one anti-CD38 antibody and have no access to other comparable/alternative therapy and for whom elranatamab could be a possible treatment option.
