NCT01928537
This study will examine the effect intravenously administered rigosertib has on the relationship between bone marrow blasts response and overall survival in myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) patients who have 5-30% bone marrow blasts and who progressed on or after treatment with azacitidine or decitabine.
NCT02138838
The primary objective was to evaluate the efficacy of cinacalcet for reducing the plasma intact parathyroid hormone (iPTH) level by ≥ 30%.
NCT02654054
This study seeks to evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of elagolix alone and in combination with estradiol/norethindrone acetate for the management of heavy menstrual bleeding associated with uterine fibroids in premenopausal women.
NCT02812875
CA-170 is a rationally designed and orally available, small molecule that directly targets the Programmed death-ligands 1 and 2 (PD-L1/PD-L2), and V-domain Ig suppressor of T cell activation (VISTA) immune checkpoints and results in activation of T cell proliferation and cytokine production. This is a multi-center, open-label, Phase 1 trial of orally administered CA-170 in adult patients with advanced solid tumors or lymphomas who have progressed or are non-responsive to available therapies and for which no standard therapy exists.
NCT01803269
This randomized phase II trial studies how well giving topotecan hydrochloride or cyclodextrin-based polymer-camptothecin CRLX101 works in treating patients with recurrent small cell lung cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as topotecan hydrochloride, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Cyclodextrin-based polymer-camptothecin CRLX101 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. It is not yet know whether topotecan hydrochloride is more effective than cyclodextrin-based polymer-camptothecin CRLX101 in treating patients with lung cancer.
NCT02205307
This is a randomized, controlled, parallel, multicenter study to determine the difference in post-operative anastomotic leak rate in low anterior resection procedures where colon and rectal tissue perfusion is evaluated using PINPOINT as an adjunct to standard surgical practice compared to surgical procedures performed according to standard surgical practice alone.
NCT02368340
Hermansky-Pudlak Syndrome (HPS) is a rare genetic disease that is associated with oculocutaneous albinism, bleeding, granulomatous colitis, and pulmonary fibrosis in some subtypes, including HPS-1, HPS-2, and HPS-4. Pulmonary fibrosis causes shortness of breath and progressive decline in lung function. In HPS patients with at-risk subtypes, almost all adults eventually develop fatal pulmonary fibrosis unless they undergo lung transplantation. The purpose of this study is to identify the earliest measurable pulmonary disease activity in individuals at-risk for HPS pulmonary fibrosis. The study also aims to develop biomarkers that will aid in understanding of the causes of HPS pulmonary fibrosis and facilitate more rapid conduct of therapeutic trials in HPS patients with mild pulmonary disease in the future.
NCT02634151
The purpose of this study was to assess the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of multiple doses of gemcabene 600 mg QD compared to placebo in patients with hypercholesterolemia not adequately controlled on high-intensity or moderate-intensity stable statin therapy. Patients with HeFH, ASCVD, or otherwise uncontrolled, may be included with baseline LDL-C value ≥ 100 mg/dL. Subjects were randomized 1:1 to gemcabene 600 mg once daily (QD) or placebo.
NCT01785069
This is a prospective, multicenter study of the safety and effectiveness of NATRELLE® 410 Highly Cohesive, Anatomically Shaped, Silicone-Filled X-Style and L-Style Breast Implants.
NCT02155777
Use of oral contraceptives (OCs) reduces a woman's risk of ovarian cancer very significantly and the protective effect continues for at least 25 years after use of OCs is stopped; the mechanisms of how this occurs are not understood. We are proposing here to directly study the effect of OCs on the fallopian tube and inclusion cysts within the ovary - sites from which most ovarian cancers are thought to arise - in order to better understand the mechanistic basis for OC protection against ovarian cancer. We think the protection results from reduced cell proliferation. It will lay the foundation for further studies to ensure that the protection against ovarian cancer afforded by 'traditional' OCs is not lost with alterations in OC formulation, and, if possible, to guide development of OC formations to improve further on the protection afforded by OCs.
NCT02387125
This is a Phase 1b, open label, multi-center study of CMB305 (sequentially administered LV305 \[a dendritic cell-targeting viral vector expressing the NY-ESO-1 gene\] and G305 \[NY-ESO-1 recombinant protein plus GLA-SE\]) in patients with melanoma, sarcoma, ovarian cancer, or non-small cell lung cancer that express NY-ESO-1.
NCT02548442
Development and Clinical Evaluation of the Stemina Metabolic Biomarker-Based Test to Diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorder in Early Childhood.
NCT03500198
An investigational IOL designed to provide improved intermediate and near visual acuity and decreased spectacle wear was evaluated for safety and effectiveness in a six-month study.
NCT00277810
The purpose of the study is to determine the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of 3 doses of lecozotan in combination with a cholinesterase inhibitor in patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease (AD).
NCT00891865
The purpose of this study is to determine whether respiratory viral infections increase the risk of bronchiolitis obliterans syndrome (BOS), obliterative bronchiolitis (OB), death, or retransplantation in children who have received lung transplants.
NCT01749397
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of veliparib when given together with floxuridine in treating patients with epithelial ovarian, primary peritoneal cavity, or fallopian tube cancer that has spread to other places in the body. Veliparib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as floxuridine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving veliparib together with floxuridine may kill more tumor cells.
NCT03787472
The clinical study is a randomized-controlled, double-masked, crossover clinical trial with two study treatments to compare two study lens types and the initial performance, in terms of the subjective response after a period of lens dispensing. The study will last approximately 2 to 4 months.
NCT03896061
Prospective, multi-center study will evaluate a pulsing technique with the ECHELON FLEX GST system for hemostasis at the staple line in laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy procedures.
NCT01290367
The purpose of this study is to compare two doses of immunoselected, culture-expanded, nucleated, allogeneic adult MPCs when combined with hyaluronic acid to two control intradiscal injections in subjects with chronic low back pain due to moderate Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD) at one lumbar level from L1 to S1. All investigational subjects in this study will undergo injection of either 6 million (M) or 18M cells in a hyaluronic acid carrier into the degenerated lumbar disc's nucleus pulposus. All control subjects will undergo an intradiscal control injection with either saline or hyaluronic acid only
NCT02443883
The main purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety and pharmacokinetics of administering various dose regimens of ramucirumab in participants with advanced gastric cancer whose disease has progressed during or following prior chemotherapy.
