This research study involves an investigational product: Ad-RTS-hIL-12 given with veledimex for production of human IL-12. IL-12 is a protein that can improve the body's natural response to disease by enhancing the ability of the immune system to kill tumor cells and may interfere with blood flow to the tumor. The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of a single tumor injection of Ad-RTS-hIL-12 given with oral veledimex.
NCT04905290
The purpose of the CSPOT study is to determine the best mode of cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) pacing for different populations of CRT patients, comparing traditional biventricular or left ventricular pacing (BiV), conduction system pacing (CSP)-only, and conduction system pacing optimized therapy (CSPOT) also known as a combination of conduction system pacing (CSP) and left ventricular (LV) pacing. Additionally, safety of the system will be assessed.
NCT05257408
The primary objectives of this study are to evaluate progression-free survival (PFS) by blinded independent central review (BICR) and overall survival (OS) (evaluated independently, as dual primary endpoints) in patients treated with intermittent regimen of Relacorilant in combination with nab-paclitaxel compared with patients treated with nab-paclitaxel monotherapy.
NCT06427915
The primary aim of this clinical trial is to determine the acute effects of OLIPOP (a lower sugar, high fiber prebiotic soda) consumption, compared to consumption of a commercially available sugar-sweetened soda pop, on blood glucose in response to the beverages alone and in combination with a carbohydrate-rich mixed lunch meal in free-living, generally healthy adults. This study will consist of one screening/randomization clinic visit (day 0) and one follow-up clinic visit (day 5), with participants consuming study products on their own (e.g., at home) following an assigned treatment sequence on days 1, 2, 3, and 4. The main questions answered by this trial are the impacts of a prebiotic rich soda versus a traditional soda on: 1) blood glucose levels with and without a meal, 2) perceived hunger levels, 3) perceived alertness levels and 4) total caloric intake.
NCT01905046
This randomized phase III trial studies metformin hydrochloride to see how well it works compared to placebo in preventing breast cancer in patients with atypical hyperplasia or in situ breast cancer. Chemoprevention is the use of certain drugs to keep cancer from forming. The use of metformin hydrochloride may prevent breast cancer.
NCT05351554
A Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled, Study with an Open-label Cohort.
NCT03592472
This is a randomized, Phase 3, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of pazopanib plus abexinostat versus pazopanib plus placebo in patients with locally advanced unresectable or metastatic renal cell carcinoma (RCC).
NCT05673811
A phase IIb, open-label, randomized study of Nab-Paclitaxel and Gemcitabine and plus/minus VCN-01 in Patients with Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer
NCT02560883
The overall objective is to develop a clinical data registry that can be used to facilitate research with the ultimate goal of reducing the morbidity and/or mortality and improving the quality of life of patients diagnosed or living with hairy cell leukemia. With approximately 1,000 new cases of this rare disease identified in the US each year, HCL represents 2% of all cases of leukemia in adults. Considering the rarity of this chronic leukemia, the Hairy Cell Leukemia Foundation (HCLF), in partnership with investigators from its Centers of Excellence, seeks to develop a registry to help researchers identify new trends in outcomes, recognize the most effective treatments, discover previously unknown complications of the disease, and design clinical trials for new therapies.
NCT01063751
This study will be a prospective, non-randomized evaluation of the Tritanium® Acetabular Shell for primary total hip replacement (THR) with a cementless application in a consecutive series of patients who meet the eligibility criteria. Half of the cases will use the Trident® X3® polyethylene insert alone as the bearing surface; the other half will use the modular dual mobility (MDM™) liner coupled with a compatible anatomic dual mobility (ADM™)/MDM™ X3® insert as the bearing surface. The success rate, defined as freedom from acetabular revision for any reason, for hips implanted with the Tritanium® Acetabular Shell, is no worse than for hips implanted with similar technology as reported in the literature and Trident® X3® Study historical control at 5 years postoperative.
NCT00785525
The purpose of the study is to: * Establish and evaluate a system for collection of filgrastim-mobilized peripheral blood stem cells from National Marrow Donor Program donors (NMDP) donors * Assess the safety among NMDP donors of filgrastim administration and PBSC leukapheresis * Assess the safety and efficacy of filgrastim-mobilized PBSC in unrelated donor hematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients * Determine the acceptability of stem cell donation by filgrastim stimulated apheresis in normal donors
NCT04870112
This study has 2 parts: dose finding and dose confirmatory. In Part 1, the dose finding phase of the study, there will be 3 or more dosing levels to find out what dose of durvalumab administered as an infusion under the skin acts similarly to durvalumab administered into a vein. 24 participants with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer will be enrolled for a 12 month treatment period and 3 months follow up In Part 2, the dose confirmation phase of the study, participants will receive the dose of durvalumab identified in Part 1 of the study. The goal of Part 2 will be to learn more about the way that the body processes durvalumab when administered as an infusion under the skin. Approximately 90 participants with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer will be enrolled; additionally, up to 10 participants with Small Cell Lung Cancer (who will receive concurrent chemotherapy) will be enrolled for a 12 treatment period and a 3 month follow-up period. AstraZeneca has decided to stop further enrollment and the study was terminated when all patients in Part 1 (Phase I) completed their last study visit. No safety issues or clinical concerns however, have been identified for this study. Part 2 (Phase II) was not initiated.
NCT02496585
The purpose of this study is to find out what effects, good and/or bad, the drug nintedanib in combination with steroids, has on the lungs. Furthermore, such treatments' side effects will be studied together with quality of life. In addition, the investigators would like to determine whether they can find markers in the blood which predict worsening lung injury.

NCT01548352
Syncope is a major health problem. In the emergency department (ED), the management of patients with syncope still remains a clinical challenge because underlying diseases and prognosis can be extremely various. Structural heart disease and primary electrical disorders are major risk factors for sudden cardiac death and mortality in patients with syncope. In contrast, patients with reflex syncope and exclusion of structural heart disease have an excellent prognosis. Therefore The investigators test the hypothesis that the use of a meticulous patient history, clinical examination and novel biomarkers can improve the rapid and accurate diagnosis of cardiac syncope in patients presenting to the ED and is able to improve risk stratification regarding adverse outcomes. The prospective multicenter cohort study is designed to enroll 720 patients presenting with transient loss of consciousness within the last 12 hours to the ED. Blood samples for the measurement of novel biomarkers will be obtained at presentation. All patients will be contacted by phone at 6, 12 and 24 months to determine major adverse events (death, resuscitation, recurrence of syncope, hospitalization for syncope).
NCT05479721
