NCT02559570
The purpose of this study was to evaluate dose response of the safety and efficacy of linaclotide for the treatment of functional constipation (FC), in children age 6-17 years. This study includes up to a 4-week Screening Period, and a 2 to 3-week Pretreatment Period. Participants age 6-11 years will receive oral liquid formulation and participants 12-17 years will receive solid oral capsule or liquid oral solution. Children ages 6-11 years meeting the entry criteria will be randomized to 1 of 3 doses of linaclotide or placebo for 4 weeks. Children ages 12-17 years meeting the entry criteria will be randomized to 1 of 4 doses of linaclotide or placebo for 4 weeks. This 4-week study will assess the effects of linaclotide on bowel movement frequency, as well as other bowel symptoms of FC.
NCT01854918
This study will contribute to the evaluation of long-term safety, tolerability and efficacy of evolocumab (AMG 145) in adults with hyperlipidemia and adults with mixed dyslipidemia.
NCT02198651
The primary objective of the study was to investigate the association between residual disease activity at Baseline as detected by Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and the occurrence of flares in participants with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) randomized to an adalimumab dose tapering regimen controlled by adalimumab withdrawal.
NCT02138916
The purpose of the study is to determine if benralizumab reduces COPD exacerbation rate in symptomatic patients with moderate to very severe COPD who are receiving standard of care therapies
NCT02239640
The purpose of this registry is to assess clinical outcomes, and different factors that may affect these clinical outcomes such as systems of care, associated with the use of Covidien market-released neurothrombectomy devices intended to restore blood flow in patients experiencing acute ischemic stroke due to large intracranial vessel occlusion.
NCT01885208
This trial is conducted in Europe and North and South America. The aim of the trial is to investigate the efficacy and safety of semaglutide once-weekly versus exenatide ER (extended release) 2.0 mg once-weekly as add-on to 1-2 oral antidiabetic drugs (OADs) in subjects with type 2 diabetes.
NCT02284399
Information on pregnant women undergoing non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) at one of the Obstetrix Medical Groups Outpatient Centers between January 2012 and June 2014 will be retrospectively gathered and an analysis of the impact and prevalence of NIPT. This will be compared to a control group of pregnant women in those same practices undergoing prenatal testing during the months of January 2010-July 2010.
NCT02492672
The current registry is being undertaken to assess the long-term (12 month) safety and tolerability of Venofer in the pediatric population with chronic kidney disease that requires intravenous iron maintenance therapy.
NCT02225041
The purpose of this study is to determine the relationships between sedative exposure during pediatric critical illness and long-term neurocognitive outcomes. We will test for drug- and dose-dependent relationships between sedative exposure and neurocognitive outcomes along the early developmental spectrum and will control for baseline and environmental factors, as well as the severity and course of illness. Hypotheses: 1. Greater exposure to benzodiazepines and/or ketamine will be associated with lower IQ even when controlling for severity of illness, hospital course, and baseline factors. In addition, benzodiazepines and/or ketamine will negatively affect other aspects of neurocognitive function. 2. Younger children exposed to benzodiazepines and/or ketamine will have worse neurocognitive outcomes than older children with similar sedative exposure and severity of illness.
NCT01415167
The purpose of this registry is to collect information on patients who are receiving treatment with Proleukin in an organized way, and to learn more about patient care during and after treatment.
NCT02488044
A Phase 1/2 Open-label Study in Patients with Arginase I Deficiency to Investigate the Safety, Pharmacokinetics, and Pharmacodynamics of Intravenous AEB1102. This study is designed to evaluate the safety and tolerability of IV administration of AEB1102 for the treatment of pediatric and adult patients with Arginase I deficiency and hyperargininemia. This study will be conducted in 2 parts: Part 1 (Single Ascending Dose Escalation) and Part 2 (Repeated Dosing). Each part will be preceded by a baseline assessment of arginine levels. All patients who participate in Part 1 may continue AEB1102 dosing in Part 2 if they qualify for continued dosing. A data safety monitoring board (DSMB) will provide independent review of study safety data and recommend whether the sponsor should continue the study as planned, modify the study protocol, or discontinue the study.
NCT03642847
This Phase 1b will describe the safety and immunogenicity of 2 multivalent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine formulations in healthy Japanese adults in the United States.
NCT02379390
Primary Objective: To demonstrate the superiority in term of radiographic Progression-Free Survival (rPFS) of cabazitaxel at at 25 milligram per meter square (mg/m\^2) plus prednisone (Arm A) versus either enzalutamide at 160 milligram (mg) once daily or abiraterone acetate at 1000 mg once daily plus prednisone (Arm B) in chemotherapy-naïve participants with metastatic Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer (mCRPC) who have disease progression while receiving androgen receptor (AR) targeted therapy (abiraterone plus prednisone or enzalutamide) within 12 months of treatment initiation (≤12 months). Secondary Objective: * To compare efficacy for: * Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) response rate and Time to PSA progression (TTPP). * Progression Free Survival (PFS). * Overall Survival (OS). * Tumor response rate in participants with measurable disease (RECIST 1.1) * Pain response and time to pain progression. * Symptomatic skeletal events (SSE) rate and time to occurrence of any SSE. * To analyze messenger ribonucleic acids (mRNAs) including androgen-receptor splice variant 7 messenger RNA (AR-V7) as a biomarker in Circulating Tumor Cells (CTCs). * To evaluate safety in the 2 treatment arms.

NCT01190189
This extension study is designed to assess the safety of GSK Biological's human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine GSK580299 in female subjects who took part in the primary study NCT00294047 and received the control vaccine in countries for which the licensed GSK HPV vaccine is not indicated for the subject's age group (26 years and older). This study is thus conducted to enable all women who received the control placebo in the primary NCT00294047 study to receive the GSK580299 vaccine.
