NCT03596450
The main purpose of this study is to compare the effects of semaglutide (Ozempic®) with the effects of other treatments for type 2 diabetes in a normal practice setting. The participant will be assigned by chance (like flipping a coin) to one of the following treatment groups: Group 1: semaglutide (Ozempic®) (by injection into skin) Group 2: standard of care antidiabetic medication (oral or injectable). The participant has an equal chance of being in either of the treatment groups. Neither the participant nor the study doctor or study staff will be able to pick which group the participant is in, but the participant will know which study drug the participant has been assigned to. The study doctor will provide the participant with a prescription for the study diabetes medication based on the treatment group the participant is assigned. The participation will last about 2 years.
NCT05956509
Spasticity is often observed as muscle tightness and stiffness in the upper and/or lower limbs. Upper limb spasticity can interfere with joint movement and its severity can range from mild to severe. Common causes of spasticity include cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, and stroke. This study will assess how safe and effective ABBV-950 is in treating upper limb spasticity in adult post-stroke participants. Adverse events and change in symptoms will be assessed. ABBV-950 in an investigational drug being developed for treating spasticity. This study is conducted in 2 parts. In Part 1, participants are assigned to receive different doses of ABBV-950 or placebo. There is 1 in 4 chance that participants will be assigned to receive placebo. In Part 2, participants will be randomly assigned to receive BOTOX, ABBV-950, or placebo. There is 1 in 5 chance for participants to receive placebo. Approximately 297 adult post-stroke participants with upper limb spasticity will be enrolled at approximately 50 sites in the United States. In Part 1, participants will receive intramuscular (IM) injections of ABBV-950 or placebo on Day 1. In Part 2, participants will receive IM injections of BOTOX, ABBV-950, or placebo on Day 1. All participants will be followed for 24 weeks. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to the standard of care. Participants will attend regular clinic visits during the study. The effect of the treatment will be checked by medical assessments, checking for side effects and completing questionnaires.
NCT04677543
The primary objective of this study is to generate evidence demonstrating the domain specification (via modern psychometric methods), reliability, validity, and responsiveness (within-subject meaningful change) of the Patient-Reported Outcome (PRO) endpoints.
NCT02800863
The purpose of this prospective, multicenter, single arm post-approval study is to demonstrate continued safety of the Axium and Proclaim Neurostimulator System for dorsal root ganglion (DRG) stimulation. The primary endpoint is the 12-month serious adverse event rate for permanent implants.
NCT03461211
The overall objective is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of teprotumumab in the treatment of thyroid eye disease (TED) in participants who participated in the lead-in study HZNP-TEP-301 (NCT03298867; OPTIC) and who were either proptosis non-responders at Week 24 of HZNP-TEP-301 or were proptosis responders at Week 24 but met the criteria for re-treatment due to relapse during the Follow-Up Period of HZNP-TEP-301.
NCT03860935
Phase 3 efficacy and safety study to evaluate acoramidis (AG10) HCl 800 mg administered orally twice a day compared to placebo in subjects with symptomatic Transthyretin Amyloid Cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM).
NCT04772313
This is a Phase 4, multicenter, open-label trial of pegloticase with methotrexate (MTX) in adult participants with uncontrolled gout who were previously treated with pegloticase without a concomitant immunomodulator and stopped pegloticase due to failure to maintain serum uric acid (sUA) response and/or a clinically mild infusion reaction (IR). Approximately 30 participants will be enrolled. Pegloticase + MTX will be administered for approximately 24 weeks, with an optional extension up to 48 weeks. The trial design will include 5 distinct components: 1. Screening Period, lasting up to 42 days; 2. 6-week MTX Tolerability Assessment Period (hereafter referred to as the MTX Run-in Period); 3. 24-week Pegloticase + MTX Treatment Period, which will include a Week 24/End of Trial/Early Termination Visit (subjects that end MTX and pegloticase treatment prior to the Week 24 will remain on trial for follow up until the Week 24 visit) 4. Optional Pegloticase + MTX Extension Period up to 24 weeks 5. 30-Day Post Treatment Follow -up
NCT02246218
This is an open-label study consisting of a transition period to RAVICTI, followed by a safety extension period for at least 6 months and up to 24 months of treatment with RAVICTI, depending on age at enrollment. It is designed to capture information important for evaluating safety, pharmacokinetics and efficacy in young children. Subjects who are followed by or referred to the Investigator for management of their UCD. Subjects eligible for this study will include patients ranging from newborn to \< 2 years of age with either a diagnosed or clinically suspected UCD.
NCT00992459
This was a randomized, active-controlled, double-blind, cross-over study designed to enroll subjects with UCDs who are being treated with NaPBA.

NCT03382834
This study evaluated the effects of tamoxifen exposure in combination with vorinostat on viral reactivation among HIV-1 infected post-menopausal women with virologic suppression on antiretroviral therapy (ART), when compared to vorinostat alone.
NCT04004767
The purpose of the TRC-PAD study is to develop a large, well-characterized, biomarker-confirmed, trial-ready cohort to facilitate rapid enrollment into AD prevention trials utilizing the APT Webstudy and subsequent referral to in-clinic evaluation and biomarker confirmation.
