NCT01569295
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of the addition of idelalisib (formerly GS-1101) to bendamustine + rituximab (BR) on progression-free survival (PFS) in participants with previously treated chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)
NCT01716715
This randomized phase II trial studies how well giving cabozantinib-s-malate or paclitaxel works in treating patients with persistent or recurrent epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cavity cancer. Cabozantinib-s-malate may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. It is not yet known whether cabozantinib-s-malate or paclitaxel is more effective at treating patients with persistent or recurrent epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cavity cancer.
NCT03548909
Amino Terminal pro-Brain Natriuretic Peptide (NTproBNP) is secreted in conditions of cardiac wall stress. NTproBNP levels are used in addition to clinical assessment to diagnose heart failure (HF). The purpose of this clinical study is to collect data to substantiate the use of the VITROS NT-proBNP II assay.
NCT03730779
The investigators will be using nocturnal normobaric hyperoxia therapy in patients with diagnoses of conditions related to retinal ischemia.
NCT00826046
This protocol allows for the treatment of patients, male and female, between the ages of 18 years and 70 years. Patients must have failed to respond to steroid treatment for Grade C-D acute GVHD.
NCT02110706
The specific primary objective of this study is to determine whether rituximab is a safe and beneficial therapeutic for Myasthenia Gravis (MG) that warrants further study in a phase III efficacy trial.
NCT01204918
This study aims to examine the antidepressant efficacy of riluzole, employing a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, adjunctive trial in treatment-resistant major depressive disorder (TRD).
NCT02953314
This is a Phase 3, 2-part (Part A and Part B), open label, multicenter study evaluating the pharmacokinetic (PK), safety, and tolerability of multiple doses of tezacaftor (TEZ) in combination with ivacaftor (IVA) in subjects 6 through 11 years of age with CF who are homozygous or heterozygous for the F508del- CF transmembrane conductance regulator protein (CFTR) mutation.
NCT02296164
The Valchlor PROVe study is a multi-center, prospective, observational, US-based drug study that longitudinally follows patients with Mycosis Fungoides Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma (MF-CTCL) who are receiving therapy with Valchlor. Patients will be followed prospectively for a maximum of 2 years from the date of signed informed consent (enrollment) until end of study. Continuation in the study is not contingent on continuation of Valchlor.
NCT03337035
Because oral probiotics reported to potentially induce endogenous Oxytocin, and Oxytocin has been reported to improve social behaviors, the investigators will conduct a pilot trial to compare the effects of probiotics and Oxytocin on social behavioral changes in ASD children. Additionally, the investigators will check oxytocin levels, and perform brain fMRI in some subjects, in order to determine which treatment is more efficient, sustainable, and practical, and whether both treatments in combination are better than either treatment alone. If the trial is conclusive, the investigators will conduct a trial in large scale to understand more the mechanism of ASD behaviors and corresponding effective interventions.
NCT00792701
RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as gemcitabine and cisplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving chemotherapy drugs after surgery may kill any tumor cells that remain after surgery. Sometimes, after surgery, the tumor may not need more treatment until it progresses. In this case, observation may be sufficient. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying how well giving gemcitabine together with cisplatin works in treating patients with stage I non-small cell lung cancer that was removed by surgery.
NCT01452529
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the analgesic efficacy and safety of HYD tablets 20 to 120 mg once-daily dose compared to placebo in subjects with moderate to severe chronic low back pain uncontrolled by their current stable analgesic regimen
NCT01400139
The primary objective of this study is to characterize the long-term safety of Hydrocodone Bitartrate (HYD) tablets 20 to 120 mg once-daily in subjects with chronic nonmalignant and nonneuropathic pain.
NCT02554786
The purpose of the trial is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of two different doses of QMF149 (QMF149 150/160 µg and QMF149 150/320 µg via Concept1) over two respective MF doses (MF 400 µg and MF 800 µg via Twisthaler® (total daily dose)) in poorly controlled asthmatic participants as determined by pulmonary function testing, and effects on asthma control
NCT00006227
This phase II trial studies the effectiveness of paclitaxel in treating patients who have ovarian stromal cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die.
NCT02261220
This is a multicenter, open-label, dose-exploration and dose-expansion study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, antitumor activity, PK and immunogenicity of MEDI4736 in combination with tremelimumab in subjects with select advanced solid tumors.
NCT01732770
This study will compare the effectiveness of denosumab treatment every 6 months with once yearly zoledronic acid treatment on bone mineral density (BMD) at various skeletal sites.
NCT01400971
The purpose of this study is to identify specific patient, physician, and health system related factors associated with the progression to a more intensive regimen from initial insulin therapy for patients with type 2 diabetes.
NCT03036852
The primary objectives of this study are to evaluate safety, efficacy, and tolerability of treatment with sofosbuvir/velpatasvir (SOF/VEL) for 12 weeks in adults on dialysis for end stage renal disease (ESRD) with chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection of any genotype.
NCT02189473
The primary aim of this randomized multi-center trial is to investigate the efficacy of the radiotherapy regimens 5 x 4 Gy and 10 x 3 Gy with respect to the effect on motor function in patients with metastatic epidural spinal cord compression.
