The primary goal of this study is to test the acceptability and feasibility of iASIST (integrated Alcohol and Suicide Intervention for Suicidal Teens), a novel adjunctive intervention for alcohol use and alcohol-related suicidal thoughts and behaviors for suicidal adolescent inpatients. The investigators will first conduct an open trial with 10 adolescents and their parents to test iASIST and make subsequent changes to the booster. Next, the investigators will conduct a randomized trial with 50 adolescents and their parents to test the feasibility and acceptability of iASIST as well as associations with alcohol- and suicide-related outcomes at 3 months post-discharge, relative to participants who receive an attention-matched comparison condition focused on the role of a healthy lifestyle in mental health that includes a post-discharge mHealth control targeting the maintenance of a healthy lifestyle.

We are doing this research study to better understand the mechanism of action of colchicine, a drug commonly prescribed for gout. Precisely, we aim to evaluate the effect of colchicine on a specific protein (GDF15) blood levels at different timepoints after its administration. This research study will compare GDF15 blood levels after the administration of colchicine or placebo. The placebo looks exactly like colchicine but contains no active drug. During this study, participants may get a placebo instead of colchicine. Placebos are used in research studies to see if the results are due to the study drug or due to other reasons.

This study will evaluate the effects of an experimental (being tested) study drug called apremilast. Apremilast works by lowering some of the chemicals that affect psoriasis and therefore improves the symptoms of psoriasis. The purpose of this study is to test apremilast and compare its effects to placebo (an inactive substance which contains no medicine but is in the same form as the drug). This study will test efficacy (improvement of signs and symptoms) and safety of apremilast in patients with moderate to severe psoriasis.

Each year, 11,000 people suffer a spinal cord injury (SCI) in the U.S. Within the first year, there are profound declines in physiologic function, forming the underlying substrate for future cardiovascular disease . In fact, acquired cardiovascular disease is an increasingly recognized consequence of SCI and is the leading cause of death in SCI. Though incompletely understood, the almost 10-fold prevalence of cardiovascular disease results in part from profound physiologic 'detraining' resulting from motor impairment and immobility. Currently, effective interventions preventing acute declines that lead to cardiovascular compromise and increased risk in SCI are lacking - exercise therapy for those with SCI is challenging and when employed, is typically limited to the upper body. Recently, the investigators refined a unique form of exercise for those with SCI that specifically mirrors exercise performed by those without SCI. Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) Row Training (RT) couples volitional arm and electrically controlled leg exercise, resulting in a hemodynamic profile that produces the beneficial cardiac loading conditions of large muscle mass exercise. As such, FES-RT may be a safe and effective way to attenuate cardiovascular declines following SCI. The investigators aims are to test the overall hypotheses that FES-RT will: 1) mitigate against increased visceral adiposity and reduced insulin sensitivity, 2) prevent worsening lipid profile and compromised baroreflex function, and 3) counter ventricular wall thickening and declining ventricular function occurring with acute SCI, and that these effects will be greater than that observed with an arms-only exercise group. Changes with FES-RT will be compared to a time (wait-list) control and to arms-only-RT. Individuals with an SCI within the last 3-6 months will be randomized to FES-RT, to a time control, or arms-only-RT. Measures will be made at baseline and 6 months. The investigators work will provide results that clearly delineate potential health benefits of FES-RT, and if FES-RT is effective in a majority of those with SCI, its application, implementation, and integration could be easily replicated.

ING111762 is a 48 week, randomized, double-blind, active-controlled, multicenter, parallel group, non-inferiority study. The study will be conducted in at least 688 HIV-1 infected antiretroviral experienced, integrase-naïve subjects. Subjects will be randomized 1:1 to receive GSK1349572 50 mg once daily or raltegravir (RAL) 400 mg twice daily, each added to an investigator selected background regimen consisting of at least one fully active agent plus no more than one second single agent which may or may not be active. Antiviral activity, safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), and development of viral resistance will be evaluated.

This proof of concept study will take place in the US and other countries in approximately 15 clinical sites and will enroll about 40 hospitalized patients diagnosed with COVID-19 infection who have developed pneumonia and require supplemental oxygen. 20 patients will receive opaganib in addition to standard of care twice each day for 14 days. 20 will receive matching placebo in addition to standard of care unless the patient has been discharged from the hospital without requiring supplemental oxygen, in which case study drug will only be administered for 10 days. All participants will be followed up for 4 weeks after their last dose of study drug.

This study evaluates KRT-232, a novel oral small molecule inhibitor of MDM2, for the treatment of patients with Ph+ Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) who have relapsed or are refractory or intolerant to a Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor (TKI). This study is a global, open label Phase 1b/2 to determine the efficacy and safety of KRT-232 in patients with chronic phase CML (CML-CP) and accelerated phase (CML-AP) who have failed TKI treatments.

This study will be conducted to assess the safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity of repeat doses of BOS161721 (20 milligrams \[mg\], 60 mg, and 120 mg) administered subcutaneously in adult participants with moderately to severely active Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) on limited background standard of care treatment, in order to estimate the optimal dose. BOS161721 at the chosen dose will be compared to placebo for response on the SLE Responder Index 4, with sustained reduction of oral corticosteroids, in the same participant population.
