NCT02659020
The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of two anti-cancer drugs (gemcitabine and docetaxel) with and without the study drug known as olaratumab in participants with advanced soft tissue sarcoma (STS) or STS that has spread to another part(s) of the body.
NCT03340532

NCT03447782
New daily persistent headache (NDPH) is a primary headache disorder characterized by the daily and unremitting headache pain patients experience with a distinct onset. Despite the known significant impairment associated with NDPH, the process by which some patients with NDPH recover within months while others do not is unknown. The investigators propose to refine the clinical definition and suggest a novel mechanism underlying new daily persistent headache (NDPH) in adolescents. They further aim to investigate low-dose naltrexone for the treatment of new daily persistent headache. Healthy controls will also be enrolled in order to investigate the existence of a biomarker for NDPH. Adolescents ages 10-17 will be recruited from Boston Children's Hospital Pediatric Headache Program.
NCT02698891
This research study is testing the safety and feasibility of delivering the 4 cycles of 'dose-dense' paclitaxel without the use of Neulasta (Pegfilgrastim) as a Granulocyte Colony-stimulating Factor (G-CSF) support. The research study is for participants who have early stage breast cancer and have been recommended to receive a standard chemotherapy regimen, doxorubicin/cyclophosphamide (AC) plus Paclitaxel (T), in what is called a "dose-dense" fashion to prevent recurrences.
NCT04659967
The purpose of this study is to develop and test a multicomponent hearing care intervention for the PACE staff members in order to learn more about communication and engagement.
NCT04069741
This study evaluates a Decision Aid to help patients with de Quervain's tenosynovitis decide how to treat their condition. For patients with symptoms of depression, half the participants will receive a psychological intervention (Toolkit) to improve depression and pain from de Quervain's tenosynovitis. The investigators hypothesize that both the Decision Aid and the Toolkit will be feasible, and that the Toolkit will improve pain and function compared to usual care.
NCT03603496
This randomized controlled trial will compare the effectiveness of two models of post-discharge tobacco cessation treatment for adult smokers admitted to 3 U.S. hospitals.
NCT03891264
In this research, the study team will use brain imaging to evaluate the presence of neuroinflammation in the brains and spinal cords of patients with low back pain, and whether CBD effects levels of neuroinflammation. The efficacy of CBD use for low back pain treatment will also be evaluated by observing whether CBD administration will reduce neuroinflammation and low back pain symptoms.
NCT02462603
Open-label study with 30-day run-in phase and adaptive design component to include more participants if deemed appropriate by investigators.
NCT03910296
The purpose of this research study is to develop a psychological treatment for patients with cancer, focused on the psychological symptoms they experience during opioid therapy.
NCT01622088
The purpose of the study is to collect long-term safety data from subjects with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) exposed to dexpramipexole.
NCT01507545
The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether therapy with MORAb-004 is effective and safe in the treatment of metastatic, colorectal cancer.
NCT02528227
The purpose of this study is to adminster one of two education programs to parents of preterm infants in the NICU to evaluate language and cognitive outcomes of their infants.
NCT00456261
This trial will look at 2 different drug combinations that have well known safety profiles and are known to be active against non small cell lung cancer and combine them with bevacizumab, an experimental drug that has shown effectiveness when added to other drug combinations for advanced non-small cell lung cancer. The primary objective in this study is to see how well this combination of drugs keeps the cancer from getting worse in this elderly population of non-small cell lung cancer patients.
NCT04640792
ME-APDS is a device (software-based with hardware) developed by Magentiq Eye LTD and intended to support the decision of the endoscopist on polyps which appear in the colonoscopy video during the colonoscopy procedure. This randomized two arm colonoscopy trial will mainly compare APC and APE between Magentiq Eye Assisted Colonoscopy (MEAC) and Conventional Colonoscopy (CC) in patients referred for either screening or surveillance colonoscopies.
NCT03775694
The purpose of the dMRI-1 data collection study is to establish a database of clinical images and limited medical history information from patients that have previously received a dMRI scan. All data collected will be de-identified. No safety or effectiveness assessments will be completed.
NCT02939989
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of co-administration of glecaprevir (ABT-493)/pibrentasvir (ABT 530) plus sofosbuvir (SOF) plus ribavirin (RBV) in hepatitis C virus (HCV) genotype (GT) 1 - 6-infected participants (including non-cirrhotic, or cirrhotic with compensated cirrhosis participants) who had experienced virologic failure in an AbbVie parent clinical study.
