NCT03233204
This phase II Pediatric MATCH trial studies how well olaparib works in treating patients with solid tumors, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, or histiocytic disorders with defects in deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) damage repair genes that have spread to other places in the body (advanced) and have come back (relapsed) or do not respond to treatment (refractory). Olaparib is an inhibitor of PARP, an enzyme that helps repair DNA when it becomes damaged. Blocking PARP may help keep cancer cells from repairing their damaged DNA, causing them to die. PARP inhibitors are a type of targeted therapy.
NCT06128369
The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of OCS-01 in treating inflammation and pain in subjects following cataract surgery.
NCT05907343
The goal of this clinical study is to investigate the effectiveness of non-invasive stimulation to enhance cognitive control abilities in cognitively healthy adults and older adults diagnosed with mild cognitive disorder (MCI). The main questions it aims to answer are: * whether it is possible to restore various cognitive functions in older adults diagnosed with MCI by delivering theta burst stimulation (TBS), a form of transcranial magnetic stimulation, and * whether closed-loop TBS is able to induce therapeutic benefits that outperform open-loop TBS. Participants play a cognitive video game while a brain-computer interface (BCI) analyzes their electroencephalogram (EEG) signals and decodes the presence or absence of the contingent negative variation (CNV) potential, a marker of cognitive control. The BCI triggers TBS when its outputs indicate that the participant is not engaged properly in the video game. Researchers will compare the effects of sham, closed-loop, and open-loop TBS using the outcome metrics described below to see how much cognitive restorations is achievable with each stimulation modality.
NCT05601362
The purpose of this study is a preliminary evaluation of a gamified attention bias modification training (GAMBT) for reducing symptoms of depression and rumination. Individuals with elevated symptoms of depression will use the digital intervention over the course of 4 weeks. They will complete a brief (\~5 question) survey daily, as well as weekly assessments.
NCT04830163
After stroke, people often have difficulty using their hands. Combined brain and nerve stimulation can strengthen the neural pathways that control hand function. In this study, we will deliver combined brain and nerve stimulation during specific time windows that increase activation of neural pathways underlying hand function. We will compare the effects of combined brain and nerve stimulation during these optimal time windows to the effects of combined brain and nerve stimulation applied during random time windows on post-stroke hand function.
NCT05267652
Clinicians perform rapid sequence induction, laryngoscopy, and tracheal intubation for more than 5 million critically ill adults as a part of clinical care each year in the United States. One-in-ten emergency tracheal intubations is complicated by life-threatening hypoxemia. Administering supplemental oxygen prior to induction and intubation ("preoxygenation") decreases the risk of life-threatening hypoxemia. In current clinical practice, the most common methods for preoxygenation are non-invasive positive pressure ventilation and facemask oxygen. Prior trials comparing non-invasive positive pressure ventilation and facemask oxygen for preoxygenation have been small and have yielded conflicting results. A better understanding of the comparative effectiveness of these two common, standard-of-care approaches to preoxygenation could improve the care clinicians deliver and patient outcomes.
NCT04502862
Primary Objective: To assess the effect of dupilumab on sleep Secondary Objectives: * To evaluate the effect of dupilumab on additional participant reported sleep outcomes * To evaluate the effect of dupilumab on objective sleep assessment * To evaluate the effect of dupilumab on asthma symptoms * To evaluate the effect of dupilumab on lung function * To evaluate the safety of dupilumab
NCT02799745
The primary purpose of this study was to compare the time to prostate cancer progression (pathological or therapeutic progression) between patients treated with enzalutamide versus patients undergoing active surveillance.
NCT02839330
This Phase 3 study evaluates the safety, immunogenicity and lot-to lot consistency of 3 lots of aH5N1c vaccine for pandemic avian influenza, in approximately 2394 healthy adults ≥18 years of age receiving the vaccine and 797 healthy adults receiving placebo. Subjects were randomized in a 3:1 ratio to receive either aH5N1c vaccine or saline placebo. Enrollment was stratified by age: 18 to \<65 years of age and ≥65 years of age, to allow adequate safety assessment of the entire age spectrum.
NCT04366440
The overall objective of this study is to identify the best strategy to eliminate unnecessary antibiotic use after surgery in pediatric surgical procedures considered low-risk for an SSI. Based on literature and our preliminary data suggesting surgeons will not fully accept standardized order sets based on current guidelines, the investigators hypothesize that order set modification combined with ASP facilitation will outperform standard order set modification alone in de-implementing unnecessary postoperative antibiotic use.
NCT04981795
The realMIND study is a multicenter, observational study intended to further characterize the safety and effectiveness data of US patients (with a focus on racial and ethnic minority patients) with relapsed or refractory (R/R) diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), treated with tafasitamab in combination with lenalidomide.
NCT05846659
Phase 2, open-label, multicenter, randomized study comparing the safety and efficacy of personalized ultra-fractionated stereotactic adaptive radiotherapy (PULSAR) combined with immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) immunotherapy (PULSAR-ICI) + IMSA101 and PULSAR-ICI alone in patients with oligoprogressive solid tumor malignancies after prior anti-cancer therapy.
NCT04985916
This study tests an investigational drug formulation called ET-01, botulinum toxin, Type A, topical, in lateral canthal lines (LCL).
NCT06039449
A study to investigate the prevention of COVID-19 with VYD222 in adults with immune compromise and in participants aged 12 years or older who are at risk of exposure to SARS-CoV-2
NCT05602727
The main purpose of this study was to assess the safety and efficacy of MK-1942 as adjunctive therapy in participants with mild to moderate Alzheimer's Disease (AD) dementia.
NCT04795765
This postmarket registry is intended to prospectively collect real world data to support ongoing safety and performance of the SpineJack system.
NCT02588261
The purpose of the study was to evaluate the progression free survival (PFS), based on independent radiologic review (IRR), of ASP8273 compared to erlotinib or gefitinib in patients with locally advanced, metastatic or unresectable stage IIIB/IV adenocarcinoma non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) activating mutations. This study also assessed Overall survival (OS); Overall response rate (ORR) as assessed by IRR; PFS as assessed by the investigator; Disease control rate (DCR) as assessed by IRR; Duration of Response (DOR) by IRR; Safety of ASP8273; and Quality of Life (QOL) and patient-reported outcome (PRO) parameters.
NCT06050928
This phase 1b trial will evaluate the effects of EP262 in subjects with Chronic Inducible Urticaria (CIndU), including symptomatic dermographism and cold urticaria.
NCT05476783
This is an open-label long term extension study for participants with Alzheimer's disease (AD) who have completed Protocol TB006AD2102 (lead-in study) or participants who would have been eligible for the lead-in study but were not enrolled (de novo).
