NCT03744507
The purpose of this study is to characterize the longitudinal bone mineral density (BMD) in premenopausal women with uterine fibroids or endometriosis.
NCT00692276
The proposed prospective, multi-center, randomized clinical trial is designed to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the Superion™ ISS compared to the X-STOP® IPD® device in healthy adults suffering from at least 6 months of moderate spinal stenosis symptoms who have been unresponsive to conservative care.
NCT01643213
The purpose of this study is to evaluate patient preference of the Boston Scientific Corporation (BSC) commercially approved spinal cord stimulation (SCS) systems with the Observational Mechanical Gateway (OMG) in patients who failed non-BSC SCS trial therapy.
NCT04329533
Due to the COVID-19 global health pandemic, many people are likely experiencing increased stress. Many obstetrics and gynecology patients are additionally experiencing increased stress due to the healthcare changes the COVID-19 pandemic has caused including delayed or canceled elective surgeries, visitor restrictions, and telemedicine visits instead of in person clinic visits. Mindfulness meditation is a self-management strategy that can be utilized by anyone to assist with the management of stress. Mindfulness meditation mobile applications, such as the "Calm" app, can be used to help manage stress, especially during this uncertain time. The investigators propose a prospective randomized controlled trial evaluating perceived stress, anxiety, and sleep disturbance in the investigators outpatient OB/Gyn patients at Banner Women's Institute, with the use of a 30 day trial of the mindfulness meditation app, "Calm." All patients would ultimately receive a 30 day free trial of the mobile meditation app, however the intervention group would receive the 30-day free trial immediately and the control group would receive the 30-day free trial after the study period which is 30 days after enrollment. The investigators additionally want to evaluate the feasibility of using the mobile app, including looking at adherence to use of the app and patient satisfaction with use of the app.
NCT02603120
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of switching from a regimen of dolutegravir (DTG) and abacavir/lamivudine (ABC/3TC) or a fixed dose combination (FDC) of abacavir/dolutegravir/lamivudine (ABC/DTG/3TC) to a FDC of bictegravir/emtricitabine/tenofovir alafenamide (B/F/TAF) versus continuing DTG and ABC/3TC as the FDC ABC/DTG/3TC in virologically suppressed Human Immunodeficiency Virus- 1 (HIV-1) infected adults.
NCT02484690
This multiple-center, multiple-dose and regimen, randomized, double-masked active comparator-controlled, double-masked, five parallel group, 36-week study will evaluate the efficacy, safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of faricimab (RO6867461) in participants with choroidal neovascularization (CNV) secondary to age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The study was designed to allow the evaluation of RO6867461 in a treatment-naive population (comparison of Arms A, B, C, and D) and an anti-VEGF-incomplete responder population that met a predefined criterion at Week 12 (comparison between Arms A and E). Only one eye per participant was chosen as the study eye.
NCT01036529
The EVIDENCE trial is a randomized controlled trial comparing the therapeutic effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of the Precision® Spinal Cord Stimulation with that of reoperation as a treatment of pain in patients with Failed Back Surgery Syndrome (FBSS). FBSS is defined as persistent or recurrent pain following one or more lumbosacral spine surgical procedures. Surgical procedures that can result in FBSS can be categorized as either decompression or decompression followed by fusion with or without instrumentation. The pain of FBSS is categorized as neuropathic, which involves pathological nerve activity and is commonly characterized by patients as shooting or burning and/or nociceptive, which signals actual or impending tissue damage or inflammation.
NCT03030599
This is a double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized-withdrawal, multicenter study of the efficacy and safety of JZP-258.
NCT03484065
The aim of this observational study is to evaluate the quality of life in patients with congenital afibrinogenemia using the Haemo-QoL SF for kids and the Haem-A-QoL for adult patients.
NCT02515669
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and tolerability of RO7239361 in boys with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy with any genetic mutation.
NCT01934556
The purpose of this research study is to determine if a "Treat and Extend" regimen (increasing the time between visits when the disease is stable and not getting worse) of Ranibizumab 0.3 mg injections inside the eye is safe and effective at treating patients with swelling of the retina from diabetes.
NCT01775735
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of occipital nerve stimulation (ONS) using the Boston Scientific Corporation (BSC) Precision™ System in the management of intractable chronic migraine, when used in conjunction with anti-migraine medications.
NCT02092324
This phase II trial studies how well ruxolitinib phosphate works in treating patients with chronic neutrophilic leukemia (CNL) or atypical chronic myeloid leukemia (aCML). Ruxolitinib phosphate may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cells to reproduce. This trial also studies the genetic makeup of patients. Certain genes in cancer cells may determine how the cancer grows or spreads and how it may respond to different drugs. Studying how the genes associated with CNL and aCML respond to the study drug may help doctors learn more about CNL and aCML and improve the treatment for these diseases.
NCT03032380
The primary objective of this study is to compare all-cause mortality at Day 14 in participants receiving cefiderocol with participants receiving the comparator, meropenem, in adults with hospital-acquired bacterial pneumonia (HABP), ventilator-associated bacterial pneumonia (VABP), or healthcare-associated bacterial pneumonia (HCABP) caused by Gram-negative pathogens.
NCT04015102

The purpose of this study is to gain information on the safety, efficacy, and quality of life in subjects who have had the GreenLight XPS procedure.
NCT02739464
This study will measure efficacy of early in-patient exercise as an adjunct to current Standard of Care (SOC) for 96 patients in a multi-centre trial. The secondary purpose is to assess the efficacy of a personalized, structured, and quantifiable exercise program (MP10) carried out soon after admission until hospital discharge (including during the BICU stay and time on ventilation).
