NCT02217709
This phase II trial studies phenelzine sulfate in treating patients with prostate cancer that has not spread to other parts of the body and has come back. Phenelzine sulfate is a type of antidepressant that works by decreasing the amount of a protein called monoamine oxidase (MAO). MAO drugs may have an anticancer effect in prostate cancer.
NCT02446366
This phase I trial studies the side effects and the best dose of hypofractionated stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) in treating patients with prostate cancer that was removed by surgery. Hypofractionated SBRT delivers higher doses of radiation therapy over a shorter period of time and may kill more tumor cells and may have fewer side effects than standard radiation therapy.
NCT04928820
This phase II trial studies how well 68Ga-PSMA-11 positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) works in detecting the spread of cancer to the bones (bone metastasis) in patients with prostate cancer and increased PSA after treatment (biochemical recurrence) during androgen deprivation therapy. Diagnostic procedures, such as 68Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT, may help find and diagnose prostate cancer and find out how far the disease has spread.
