This study is being done to find out if this approach (adding FMT treatment to the usual approach) is better or worse than the usual approach for advanced non-small cell lung cancer. The usual approach is defined as care most people get for non-small cell lung cancer. The usual approach for patients who are not in a study is treatment with a type of immunotherapy drugs called immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) as well as chemotherapy drugs. ICB works by activating the immune system to target the cancer. ICB and chemotherapy may help to slow down the growth of cancer and may cause cancer cells to die.
